Thornback & Peel was established by Juliet Thornback & Delia Peel in 2006 to create beautiful pieces for the home. They combine a modern palette with the intricate detail of 19th century wood engravings. Their work is inspired by an eclectic mixture of Victoriana, Mrs Beeton’s household management, Mr McGregor’s garden. Thornback & Peel is a celebration of the quirkiness of British humour and design.

In 2018, Elite were proud to see the launch of Thornback & Peel tinware, starting with their classic Rabbit & Cabbage design. Proving extremely popular with our retailers, more designs joined this wonderful collection and in 2019, Elite became the official distributor of Thornback & Peel fabrics.

To this day, Thornback & Peel continue to be a best-selling Elite license.
